Congrats to Sue Gary!

Hearty, well-deserved congratulations to Navigator member Sue Gary who was awarded the coveted Wind Beneath My Wings Award at the February, 2010 meeting.

Sue honored her husband Robert in the most special way. She seemed genuinely surprised and especially thrilled when Robert appeared in the doorway! He held onto her supportively during a few tearful moments as she read her essay nominating him. What a wonderful guy.

This award is annually given to a VCPWN member who submits a narrative of the person who is the Wind Beneath their Wings, and why. Sue's tribute was heart-felt and touched us all. The submissions are evaluated and only one is chosen per year.

Congratulations, Sue. You have always been the Wind Beneath the Wings of VCPWN.

Sue and Robert were presented with a bouquet, an engraved plaque a gift certificate to Marmalade Cafe.
