“Clean Out Your Desk and Help A School”
You know that old adage about it’s better to give than to receive? What if you could do both at the same time? And it won’t cost any money!!
Shirley Jones, The Artful Organizer has partnered with Support for the Kids to organize a “Clean Out Your Desk and Help A School” event.
Sponsor a Meeting
Want to get your business information on every chair and dinner table? You can - as a meeting sponsor. For the low sum of $100 (for members) you can pepper your materials AND have five minutes on the platform to promote your business.
The August 12 meeting is our semi-annual all networking meeting - wouldn't you like to have your materials be the focal point of the meeting? August is available....
In September the Wind Beneath My Wings Award is given. We'll have a speaker and YOU as the sponsor. Contact me or any leadership team member.
Do you judge a book by its cover?
I just guest-blogged on this question at http://bit.ly/91cmcg
My next book in the Forensic Handwriting Mystery series will be released July 6, and I'm having a party to celebrate. If you are a lover of mysteries and would like to attend, RSVP to me at sheila@sheilalowe.com You don't have to be a VCPWN member, just someone who enjoys reading.

• Executive board members and Committee chairs were rewarded with a free membership for the year (co-chairs split)
• Began community outreach in small ways by giving our share of the 50/50 drawing to a charity of the meeting sponsors’ choice, and we voted to plus make up the donation to $100

Honor our Sisters this week!
Thurs evening, May 12, we will be presenting our Spirit of Networking award. This is a very, very special honor earned by one of our members for truly embodying what it is to be a "Networking Queen" in the highest interpretation of those words. Please join us as we honor previous honorees, but especially to help us present this award to someone very, very special to our organization.
I'm looking forward to seeing you there.
Sue Gary
